ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY OF BRITAIN'S THOROUGHBRED BREEDING INDUSTRY
The Board received a presentation on the Economic Impact Study of Britain’s Thoroughbred Breeding Industry report 2023, which HBLB had contributed to funding.
WEIGHING ROOM LOANS UPDATE
The Board noted that HBLB was awaiting applications for Weighing Room loans and confirmed that the Racing Foundation would provide part of the funding for the loans.
VETERINARY SCIENCE AND EDUCATION: PROPOSALS
The Board approved funding for Veterinary Science and Education proposals.
NON-FIXTURE GRANTS APPLICATIONS 2023/24
The Board considered a number of formal applications from various organisations for Non-Fixture Grant applications and made recommendations for funding accordingly.
TRANSPARENCY OF HBLB PRIZE MONEY CONTRIBUTIONS

CAPITAL CREDIT APPLICATION: KELSO
The Board approved a Capital Credit grant to Kelso racecourse towards the cost of a feasibility study for the new Weighing Room/Owners’ Hospitality Complex.
